Maintaining good relationships is very important to your wellbeing. If you are in a relationship with a partner then it is normal for differences of opinion and sometimes conflict to occur.
Relationships
There are no hard and fast rules in making a relationship work but always try to be aware of what you and your partner want for yourselves and what you want from the relationship. Let one another know what your needs are – talk to one another. Be willing to negotiate and compromise on the things you want and try to see things from the other's point of view.
If you need help in your relationship then you may find it useful to contact a professional organisation such as RELATE at their Liverpool outpost centre. RELATE offer counselling, sex therapy as well as young people and family counselling,

Sexuality
Most of us are aware and clear of our sexual orientation but for some people, their sexual orientation can feel confusing.
Sexual orientation is often complex and shaped at an early age. It is important to recognise that there are probably many reasons for a person's sexual orientation and the reasons may be different for each person. Finding the right support is essential.
In Liverpool you can contact the Armistead Centre who offer HIV prevention, sexual health promotion, outreach and wider support services to: Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender people across Liverpool.

Abortion
Having an abortion can be a difficult choice to make and it can be an emotional time. Talking things through and making sure you have accurate information will help.
You can do this through the services in Liverpool that can refer you for an NHS abortion carried out at either Liverpool Women’s Hospital or bpas.
This is free of charge. You can find counselling and a referral for NHS abortion at your GP, Abacus, Brook (under 25s only) or Great Charlotte St.
If you want to go privately and pay you can contact bpas
